
Berhampur, : On October 29, 2024, the Department of Library and Information Science at Berhampur University held an outreach program to Takshashila Residential School, Ankushpur, focusing on “Inculcating Reading Habits Among Students.” Prof. K. C. Das and Subhasmita Acharya shared insights on the value of reading, emphasizing its role in developing knowledge, creativity, and critical thinking.

The session also included presentations by MLIS students on topics” Enculcating reading habits among students “Akshaya Kumar Nayak and Sourabha Maharana, who offered practical tips on building reading habits, such as setting goals and exploring diverse genres. The program was well-received, highlighting the department’s commitment to promoting reading and knowledge-sharing within the community.
