ବ୍ରହ୍ମପୁର,୧୯/୦୮: ବ୍ରହ୍ମପୁର ବିଶ୍ଵବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟ ର ସାମ୍ବାଦିକ ଗଣ ଯୋଗା ଯୋଗ ବିଭାଗ ତରଫରୁ ବିଶ୍ଵ ଫୋଟୋଗ୍ରାଫି ଦିବସ ଉପଲକ୍ଷେ ଏକଦିବସୀୟ ଫୋଟୋଗ୍ରାଫି କର୍ମଶାଳା କାର୍ୟ୍ୟକ୍ରମ ଆୟୋଜିତ ହୋଇ ଯାଇ ଅଛି । ଏହି ଏକ ଦିବସୀୟ ଫଟୋଗ୍ରାଫି କର୍ମଶାଳା ରେ ସେଲି ବ୍ରିଟୀ ଫୋଟୋଗ୍ରାଫର୍ ଶ୍ରୀ ରବି ରେଡ୍ଡୀ ମୁଖ୍ୟ ଅତିଥି ଭାବେ ଯୋଗ ଦେଇଥିଲେ । ଏହି କାର୍ୟ୍ୟକ୍ରମ ଦିନ ୧୧ ଘଟିକା ସମୟରେ ସାମ୍ବାଦିକ ଓ ଗଣ ଯୋଗା ଯୋଗ ବିଭାଗ ର ସେମିନାର କକ୍ଷ ରେ ଆୟୋଜନ କରା ଯାଇଥିଲା କ୍ଷ ପ୍ରଥମେ ବିଭାଗୀୟ ମୁଖ୍ୟ ପ୍ରଫେସର୍ ଗଣେଶ ସେଠି ଅତିଥିଙ୍କୁ ଛାତ୍ର ଛାତ୍ରୀ ଙ୍କ ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ପରିଚିତ କରାଇଥିଲେ । ଓ ନିଜ ଅଭିଭାଷଣ ରେ ବିଶ୍ଵ ଫୋଟୋଗ୍ରାଫି ଦିବସ ରେ କ୍ୟାମେରା ବିଷୟରେ ସଂକ୍ଷିପ୍ତ ରେ ଛାତ୍ର ଛାତ୍ରୀ ଙ୍କୁ କହିଥିଲେ, ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ସମୟ ରେ ସାମ୍ବାଦିକତା କ୍ଷେତ୍ରରେ କ୍ୟାମେରା ର ଉପଯୋଗୀତା ବିଷୟ ରେ ଆଲୋଚନା କରିଥିଲେ, ।
ଫୋଟୋଗ୍ରାଫର ଏକ୍ସପର୍ଟ ଶ୍ରୀ ରବି ରେଡ୍ଡୀ କ୍ୟାମେରା ବିଷୟରେ ବିସ୍ତୃତ ଭାବରେ ଛାତ୍ର ଛାତ୍ରୀ ମାନଙ୍କୁ ଅବଗତ କରାଇଥିଲେ । କ୍ୟାମେରା ର ଅଂଶ ବିଶେଷ ଯଥା ସଟର୍ ସ୍ପିଡ୍, ଆପେରେଚର, ଏବଂ ଆଇ. ଏସ୍.ଓ ର ବ୍ୟବହାର ବିଷୟରେ ବର୍ଣ୍ଣନା କରିଥିଲେ । ପରେ ପ୍ରାକ୍ଟିକାଲ କକ୍ଷରେ କ୍ୟାମେରା କୁ ବ୍ୟବହାର କରି ଛାତ୍ର ଛାତ୍ରୀ ଙ୍କୁ ଦେଖାଇଥିଲେ , ଏବଂ ଛାତ୍ର ଛାତ୍ରୀ ଙ୍କ ର ପ୍ରଶ୍ନ ର ବାସ୍ତବିକ୍ ଉତ୍ତର ଦେଇ କ୍ୟାମେରା ର ବ୍ୟବହାରିତା ଉପରେ ଥିବା ଦ୍ଵନ୍ଦ କୁ ଦୂର କରିଥିଲେ ।
ଶେଷରେ ବିଶ୍ଵ ଫୋଟୋଗ୍ରାଫି ଦିବସ କୁ ଆଖିରେ ରଖି ପୂର୍ବ ଦିନ ଆରମ୍ଭ ହୋଇଥିବା ସ୍ମାର୍ଟଫୋନ୍ ଫଟୋଗ୍ରାଫି ପ୍ରତିଯୋଗିତା ର ଫଳ ଘୋଷଣା କରାଯାଇଥିଲା । ଏହି ପ୍ରତିଯୋଗିତା ରେ ଫାର୍ମାସୀ ବିଭାଗର ଛାତ୍ର ଶ୍ରୀତମ ସେଠି ପ୍ରଥମ ସ୍ଥାନ, ଓ ପରିବେଶ ବିଜ୍ଞାନ ବିଭାଗ ର ଛାତ୍ର ବିଶ୍ୱଜିତ ସାମନ୍ତରାୟ ଦ୍ୱିତୀୟ ସ୍ଥାନ ହାସଲ କରିଥିବା ବେଳେ ସାମ୍ବାଦିକ ଗଣ ଯୋଗା ଯୋଗ ବିଭାଗ ର ଛାତ୍ର ଜ୍ୟୋତିରଞ୍ଜନ ବେହେରା ତୃତୀୟ ସ୍ଥାନ ରେ ରହି ପ୍ରତିଯୋଗୀତା ର ବିଜୟୀ ହୋଇଛନ୍ତି ।

The campus of Berhampur University was ablaze with creative energy as the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication orchestrated an enthralling photography workshop on the eve of World Photography Day, August 19, 2023. The event was a testament to the university’s commitment to nurturing budding photographers and celebrating the art of visual storytelling.
The workshop, headlined by the esteemed photographer Mr. Ravi Reddy, a luminary renowned for both his photographic prowess and his work as an Executive Director in several acclaimed Odia films, cast a spellbinding aura upon the attendees. Reddy’s presence added an aura of credibility to the event, infusing it with an air of anticipation and excitement.
As the participants gathered, Mr. Ravi Reddy took the stage with an air of affability and passion. His insight-laden discourse emphasized the notion that photography transcends the limitations of equipment, stressing that an inherent passion for the craft supersedes the need for top-tier gear. The event’s seamless orchestration was under the stewardship of Assistant Professors Mr. Agni Kumar Behera and Mr. Sourav Kumar Shit, both luminaries in their own right, who ensured a smooth flow of ideas and interactions.

It commemorated the photography competition held on August 18, 2023, where student photographers showcased their distinctive perspectives. Sritam Sethi, representing the Department of Pharmacy, clinched the coveted 1st prize, a testament to his keen eye for detail. The 2nd prize found its deserving recipient in Biswajit Pattnaik from the Department of Environmental Science, while Jyotiranjan Behera from the Department of JMC secured the 3rd prize, resonating with the interdisciplinary spirit of the event.
