Berhampur/Gopalpur ,Nov 3 (IPRO) : The auspicious occasion of the 31st Raising Day of Army Air Defence College on 01 Nov 2019, the Baton of Colonel Commandant, Army Air Defence was handed over by Lt Gen AP Singh, Ati Vishisht Seva Medal, Director General, Army Air Def & Senior Colonel Commandant to Lt Gen Satinder Singh, Ati Vishisht Seva Medal, Commandant, Army Air Defence College in a military ceremony organised at Army Air Defence College, Gopalpur. In addition to the present charter of Commandant Army Air Defence College, Lt Gen Satinder Singh has been entrusted with the added responsibility of being a ‘Father Figure’ to 50% of the Army Air Defence units in the Indian Army. The Colonel Commandant’s charter involves keeping the units under his tutelage, motivated with a high state of morale to ensure fitness in both war and peace.
